Flea and Tick Prevention with Frontline

Fleas and ticks are nasty pests that can affect your entire household. Fleas can make you and your pets miserable with a cycle of biting, itching and scratching. Even just a few fleas can cause flea allergy dermatitis in some pets. Ticks can transmit serious diseases to you and your pet. There are many varieties of ticks throughout the country and all have the potential of carrying different diseases. These tick-borne diseases may be dangerous and could prove fatal.

The best way to prevent the misery of having fleas and ticks is to treat your pets with Frontline. Frontline kills all of the fleas and ticks that your pet may alread have and then kills any others that show up on your pet. Frontline is applied once a month to the skin on the back of the neck between the shoulders. The Frontline is then stored in the natural oils lying just beneath the coat of the treated pet. Frontline is then slowly and continually released from your pet's hair follicles onto the hair. Frontline is waterproof, however your pet should not be bathed for 48 hours before or after treatment.
